Manufacturing ERP

A manufacturing ERP system that sees the shop floor, not just the warehouse

WispTrack is a cloud ERP system for manufacturers: customers, orders, products, BOMs, materials, suppliers, stock, employees, production progress, and planning in one environment.

The problem

When an ERP system is not enough for manufacturing

Many ERP systems are built around accounting and sales. Production is a side module — and production is exactly where deadlines are won and lost.

  • Stock and documents live in the system, while order progress lives in notebooks and chat threads.
  • BOMs, operations, and costing are maintained in separate spreadsheets outside the ERP.
  • The rollout is heavy and expensive, and half the modules do not fit the process.
  • Licences, servers, and maintenance pile up hidden costs.

The solution

ERP structure built around the production flow

WispTrack starts from production and builds the ERP structure around it: from the customer order through materials and operations to stock, shipment, and management metrics.

Sales and orders

Customers, suppliers, and orders connect directly to production rather than sitting in a separate sales module.

  • customer base and orders with statuses, priorities, and deadlines
  • public link for the customer to confirm an order
  • invoice and order document generation
  • suppliers and purchase orders

Production core

Products, recipes, and execution live in the same system as the orders and the stock.

  • products with BOMs — material lines and production operations
  • cost breakdown across materials and labour
  • work tickets, completed quantities, and scrap per operation
  • production planning with a calendar, skills, and machines

Stock and management

Stock movements and management metrics update from real work, with no extra data entry.

  • stock levels, counts, transfers, and material reservations
  • finished goods and partial shipments
  • dashboard with overdue orders, on-time delivery, and scrap rate
  • roles and access rights per team

Who it helps

One system for the different roles on the production floor

For managing directors

One dashboard shows active and overdue orders, revenue for the period, average lead time, and on-time delivery rate.

For companies that outgrew Excel

Move from scattered spreadsheets to a single system on a clear monthly subscription, without a heavy enterprise rollout.

For manufacturers whose software stops short

If your current software covers the admin but not the shop floor, WispTrack adds the production control that is missing.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an ERP and an MES system?

ERP covers business processes — orders, stock, suppliers, and documents — while MES tracks execution on the shop floor. WispTrack combines the two: ERP structure plus real-time progress per operation.

Do we need servers or an installation?

No. WispTrack is fully cloud-based — it runs in a browser on any computer with an internet connection, and updates and support are included in the subscription.

Does WispTrack cover accounting?

WispTrack focuses on production management — orders, materials, stock, BOMs, and execution. It generates invoices and collects the data needed for statutory reporting such as SAF-T, but it does not replace accounting software.
